Sadness

Tears of happiness or
Tears of joy
That's what they think they hear
But it's all a ploy
Those tears are real
And so is her pain
The blue she wears is her stain
They yell and fight
And put her down
But what's inside
Is a heart that might drown
She tries to speak
But they don't hear
And drowning now
Has become her fear
She smiles bright
When the sun is shinning
She's rather be faking it
Than be caught whinning
She's full of music
and full of life
But they always
Fill her full of strife
So she sits and cries
While the night goes on
Her tears start to dry
Leaving her all on her own
So I ask,
Do you wonder
How two people could break
A girl so full of thunder
Because I sure do
And I'm sure now you do too.
