As she and never said

by Roland Amaranto   Sep 30, 2008

A broken record it is, uttered from different voices...
and yours wasn't different, like the world i see every time i wake up
only beautiful than before yet same words as they are
trailing this chain of curses, seemingly never to end,
I'm not just, not this and not that, I'm just someone enough to be a friend
even say it with unparalleled confidence and great belief
with the knowledge of my respect for every decision you have
- you saw me in a different light than what i intended on how you'd see me
and with all rightness of my mind i did understand those words
but whats left of me in the darkness is what was the meaning of it
it is unjust of you to freely display your sense of emotions
and let alone have mine to rot in my suppressed heart
along with all this intent of unflawed love and longing for yours
"action indeed is better than words" and it is what you did
how you held my hand and your nearness to my cold self
how fast but gracefully filled the hollowness that i have always felt
compellingly, pursuing myself to ask you to become mine...
as day hastily turn to night, as quick as the leaves of fall
a blink away from the prison of which Ive been bound to stay
you've gone on your way and left me to my dead end
half as much, it didn't matter of how things and why they are
left me in incomplete unfulfilled state of emotional being,
my struggled effort to become anything that you wanted me to be
had been unrealizedly left to ash in the shelves of your memory...
but in reality, all of those that happen wont even matter to me
only,if i just heard from inside of you, what you felt i really was
