Ungrateful

by Roland Amaranto   Jun 3, 2015

You sought more than what he can do
you sought more than what he can give
in an increasing discontentment
you left and sought from another man

He did anything you sought he do,
given everything you sought he give
and for a moment you felt contented
but that moment hath briefly ended

When everything that you sought new
slowly came meaningless as you receive
upon realizing the man you had left
gave more of what you thought he failed to give

[Ages ago since the last entry.
This ain't perfect, but it's from the heart.
4 years down the drain man, its not easy]
