Once upon a time

Once upon a time
There was a beautiful girl
To everyone, she was simply a pearl
She was treasured by a young man
And this is where the story began
The love was there
None other could compare
The trust was strong
And lasted for long
They danced to the Milkyway
With love that wouldn't go away
They held hands to the shops
Just for lolly pops
Together They stared out to the stars
To heal previous love scars
Admit their sins
And wipe their grins
They laughed together
In stormy weather
In the darkest nights
They shared no frights
They never shed any tears
Together there were no fears
In times of sorrow
They never felt hollow
It seemed as though
There was no room for pain
But as we know
There will always be rain
Piddle paddle over time
Theres always room for one last rhyme
The years went by
And yet they sigh
At the end of age
There is a wage
Before it was paid
Together they prayed
Before their death
With their Last breath
Once upon a time
