The Dark night

The night is cold and dark...

The moon is out tonight...

Wind howling into the night and rain pouring down the glass windows...

I sit here in the dark without a single light on...

Weeping and nothing to help make it end...

I just lost my love...

How could this happen to me?!

I start to fall asleep with tears falling onto my sheets...

I hear foot steps outside my bedroom door...

I sit up I see your face you say "I love you"...

I wake up gasping for breath...

Waiting in the dark for you to come home...

But instead I remember that it was just only a dream...
