Remember me & my fatherly figure sensation,

Remember me as someone who liked to share,

Remember those times we laughed, I mimicked you, you mimicked me,

Remember now that God has set me free,

Remember everything we did together,

Remember to keep me in your heart forever,

Remember me as the one who'd always understand,

Remember me as a strong black man,

Don't remember me for the material,

Remember me for what was on the interior,

Remember I'll always be there for you,

Remember don't ever give up & there's nothing you can't do,

Remember I'm not gone I'm finally at peace in my father's home,

I questioned God why he took my big brother, my father, & my friend,

He answered me & said "my child this only the beginning not the end,"

I ask God to encourage & strengthen me,

Help me move on & be all I can be,

Remember me as a father,brother,cousin,uncle,nephew,son,RD,friend, or whatever you saw me as,

& hold on to all those times we had in the past!!
