How Did I Get So Lucky?

What has God given to me?
Has He given it to you, too?
I never knew if He was true
But how can he not be
He brought me to you

What have I done at life
To get a gift like you
I never thought it would happen
I never had the slightest clue

Where have I gone
To see sorrow and pain
Now when I look into your eyes
I'll never see mistrust again

How have I been living
Never knowing I would find the one
The one that always lights the sky
The one that truly shines the sun

Why have I never seen this before
That one day I will verily have it all
Every single day I want more and more
And realize that yesterday, my love was so small
