Never Again

by AngelicDecadence   Oct 11, 2008

She stumbles down the familiar road,
Silently screaming, these tears are not her own.
She opens her mouth to scream,
But no sound comes.
She looks back at the letter in her hand,
And reads it over again.
She crumbles it up,
As she falls to the ground.
She cries in the rain,
And looks at the sky,
Cursing god, asking why.
Then she folds in,
Closing the doors,
She promises herself,
Never again.
She cries for days,
But then she hides it all away.
She stumbles down the familiar road,
Silently screaming, this smile is not her own.
