Death Consuming

by Wondering Soul   Oct 11, 2008

Darkness
Creeping over me
Like death.

Love blossoming like roses,
Mind twisting like thorns,
OBSESSSION consuming my thoughts.

Tears pouring down
Porcelain face
Like a ghost drowning her existence
Endless nightmares taking over
Her brain like a kaleidoscope
Visions blurred into one
Wishing herself away
Wishing she was gone.

One last look in the mirror
At all the things she hates
Fragments of it falling as it breaks
The sharpness of the shards pierces her skin
Releasing the pain
Her heart now beating slow and slower.

Darkness creeping over me
Like death
Consuming my thoughts.
