As the years go bye
There is no reason why
Those friends become distant memories
You were once so close
And nobody knows
The secrets you swear to keep
But as the days go bye
And you forget to say hi
No email, no call, no text
New friends come
And others fade away
Once you don't see each other everyday
The awkward silences grow and grow
till you just can't take it anymore
