Blissful and Unaware

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Oct 14, 2008

New leaves on the lawn
From the wind that blew today
So many different colours
But now it feels like grey
With a subtle hint of loneliness
Flows deep inside my skin
I'm trying hard to smile
And I'm doing the best I can

~Chorus~
Sometimes you just can't feel it
Sometimes you don't care
Living in between the lines
Of blissful and unaware

It looked kinda like a funeral
But right now no ones dead
Its just a couple black cars
Circling around my head
And I count them as I wait
Till I can talk to you
The colours I keep seeing
I wait for something new

Chorus

New leaves on the lawn
You know it rained today
I can't say that I'm depressed
I just don't know what to say
I don't know if I need sleep
Or it could be something else
Right now I'll count black cars
Till these grey clouds melt

Chorus x2

I wish you wouldn't tell me you were fine when you weren't. it's a pretty song. appropriate. my favourite part's about the black cars, i can see it.
