Dream

The way it is the was its supposed to be
close my eyes for a moment in time that was made for me
There you are nice to see you again, the one for me someone more than a friend
I wish this dream would never end.

Behind your eyes the sea
a love I wish was for me
breathless but breathing
freeze time and love me
Every star in the sky
could not match the look in your eyes
give me your love and I take flight
please don’t make me ever say goodbye
my eyes start to open
I wish they would stay closed
bit by bit you fade away
why must this moment die
I wake to the day and say
why cant this be real life
time to wipe the tears from my eyes.

    `Um, way confusing.. did you mean...
    "The way it is was, is the way it's supposed to be."
    I have no idea, the wording is very awkward.

    "There you are nice to see you again, the one for me someone more than a friend"
    `This is way too long, you could split it up into two lines instead after the comma after again, though.

    Overall, I was pretty bored.. sorry. You never captured my attention at all, which meant you didn't have much of my attention for any of the poem. 4/5.

    That;s beautiful.... a lovely ending...so very intense and sorrowful....I think the whole theme of the poem was really good...because it starts off a dream and talks about how lovely the dream is and how you want to stay there forever with that special someone...because you feel warm and comforted..and then its time to wake up and your heart shatters....
    its just such a powerful idea...
    really lovely.
