Forever I Have Lost You

Forever i have lost you,
yes forever it will be.
My heart will never mend,
the end it will never see.

My hope rebuilds over lost words,
our passionate journey replays in my mind,
But your face is only a memory to me,
gathered from those very moments in time.

Gone with the wind is what you are,
never to return again.
So I guess its time to tell my heart,
that this truly is the end.

But why won't it believe me?
Why won't the words register inside?
Is my heart trying to tell me something,
something that i have tried to confide.
