Sin and Love

by Kayla   Oct 16, 2008

Their love was strong like the ocean waves.
Crashing against each other, undying love.
What will people think of this?
Young child in arms,
Clinging to hope of the unknown face,
Not telling his identity,
Swore to secrecy,
Like the darkest hour of the night.
The scarlet letter pinned upon her breast,
For her sinful act,
Of true love, not hate
The hate brought upon her,
Guilt at first, then she saw,
She shouldn't be judged upon her behavior,
She loved him, cared,
Years after this happened
She returned to the site,
Where her love was strong, and sin was taken
Died,
Buried next to him,
Sharing one tombstone,
Scarlet letter A above their resting place
