Though its just another sad poem on the site but the way you put all words together and then the emotions behind them, every single poem becomes so special, so touchy. Country music, bright sunshine....these just make the reader feel everything around.
    Great poem dear, loved it.

all the best and take care

I really loved this poem because it reminded me of my grandmother, who was paralyzed and in a wheelchair and couldn't speak, but still insisted on living on her own, but I know it was really lonely after my papa passed and she couldn't really tell us how she felt, thanks for being the voice for those who can't anymore!

    Empty days like this
    Always seem so long
    Bright sunshine outside
    The shades are drawn
    ^^
Yes hun the days seem to be so long when we are hurting and the sun is shinning but we just don't want to see it.

    Can't hold on much longer
    Without you by my side
    This fight's much to hard
When all my dreams have died
    ^^^
Cindy I feel your longing through this stanza. But hun we need you too ....

This is a very touching poem Cindy as I can feel your words in my heart and even those words left unspoken are there also.

    Much love my dear friend

What a beautiful but sad poem. Your pain is expressed so clearly in every word. im sorry for your loss, do believe your loved one is still with you one day you will be reunited. i wrote a poem dry your eyes, you might get comfort from that

Cindy, this expresses the sadness and defeat in its imagery. Don't give up Cindy. You have a lot to live for even though it may not seem like it at times. You never know what life you are touching out there and how much it might mean to them.A heartfelt expression, excellent!

This is intense, and really sad. I know I used to feel like this about someone, but I found someone so much more, who makes my world go round.
Anyways, I love this poem. Keep it up!

    Cindy,
Always a touching and sad write when you speak of your beloved John. You always find a way to bring that sadness and reality of missing him into such a beautiful and touching poem that the rest of us can relate to although we may have never been faced with that. You have that ability to make one cry and be thankful for the days with their loved ones. Thank you Cindy for always writing the most touching poetry that stirs those emotions up.

The pain in your words is palpable. It is difficult to imagine pain that great, yet I can imagine the love.
