Struggle in my mind

by Ontherunsearching   Oct 21, 2008

My life, to you a world of disbelief
(sweetheart) you couldn't handle so much grief
My thoughts go beyond your shallow sense
You don't understand why I live so intense

Who are you to judge and say that I'm weak
My potential is even bigger than the empty words you speak
I'm not part of the inventory, I will not be repressed
My love isn't for granted, instead my presence should be blessed

There's always something wrong, all we do is linger
It's always me to whom you put the finger
I'm so angry with you and yet with one touch
I remember why I love you so damn much

I don't want you to be so important in my life
Don't want to compensate by being just your wife
Creation comes from the remains of a complex mind
Yet never appreciated by someone so blind

You ignore my emotions and don't care
Just tell me to my face it's me you can't bare
When I succeed in life you feel anger inside
The hatred in your eyes; you can't hide

Why do you think you have something to say
You should count your blessings that I want to stay
I don't need your approval, you don't have to agree
Just stand back, be still and see
