Obsession

by Ontherunsearching   Jan 8, 2009

Listening to the rain pouring outside
Confronted that there's nowhere I can hide
I miss you so much, I repressed it but now I cry
You're not here and there's no answer to the question why

You went away and left me here alone
Within seconds I felt the loneliness to the bone
The distance between us tears me apart within
Living without you feels like the biggest sin

I look outside and observe a raindrop
Wondering when this feeling inside will stop
In my mind I travel the world, around and around
But where-ever I go, you're nowhere to be found

You gave me the world, for other men I'm blind
Left with a question that won't leave my mind
Will you ever look at me again in that way
As if I'm the only thing necessary on this earth to stay

If the sky should turn black and the sun would never burn
Would you feel like you're left with only your heart to return
I have a missing piece that causes an unbearable pain
A voight inside, my soul can only reflect the rain
