Quiet tears

by Just another pretty face   Oct 21, 2008

A tear is falling from my eye,
an eye that's always at war.
fighting against these tears,
that win no matter what.

everywhere I see it's quiet now,
so I cry quietly.
swallow the bitter tears,
that are running without a stop.

they fall down on the cold ground,
changing into ice.
turning as white as snow,
and as solid as rock.

everyone will see my tear,
lying next to me.
no one will ever know,
why they're lying there.
