She goes to school on father's day.

She gets to meet all her friend's dads.

They ask her where her father is.

She says that he can't make it.

So everyone assumes he's another deadbeat dad.

Later on in the day everyone brought their dads to the front of the room.

When it was the girl's turn she walked bravely to the front of the class.

She acted as if the snickers from behind did not bother her.

It got silent as she started to speak.

The teacher asked her where her father was.

She said he couldn't be here beacuse he was in a better place but would always watch over her.
