Insanity for Two

by Krissymkitty   Oct 24, 2008

He killed my family
The man on the stand
He killed my family
And didn't give a damn

He talked about
How he was innocent
But I had seen him
That fateful night

My attorney harshly interrogated him
Before calling me
To the stand

I walked up confidently
Passing my enemy
And with a smile
He watched my statement

My attorney made
His final statement
Then the mans attorney
Decided to change

Insanity
He plead to the jury
Insanity
And only twenty five years

I waited two days
For the juries decision
"Insanity" they said
And only twenty five

I cried and cried
For days and days
And before i had left
The court room,
He looked me in the eyes
And showed me I'm dead
In twenty five years

I'm counting down
The time I have
Before I'm the one
On the stand
Pleading insanity...
