The rose

by Marie   Oct 25, 2008

The rose sits alone on a bush in the garden
lovely in it's structure
Beautiful in it's hue
The dew that sits gingerly upon its petals
leaves hints of mystery
from the night before
What happened little rose?
Why are you all alone?
Is your beauty truly all that it seems?
Or is it simply simplicity
that gives you your true appeal?
