Happiness Gone

by morbidmannequin   Oct 26, 2008

Roots of anguish buried deep,
Leaves of joy have been blown away,
Flowers of hatred beginning to bloom,
Vines of innocence have gone astray.

Rain of tears drowning smiles,
Clouds of pain gathered 'round,
Sunbeams of bliss lost for miles,
Breezy laughter no longer found.
