You're always pretending,
to be someone you're not.
Why can't you just be happy,
with the things that you've got?

You try so hard to hide,
behind the makeup on your face.

You'll always follow the newest trend,
just so you can make yourself fit in.
Eventually half your posing photos,
will be dragged into the recycle bin.

If you'd just stop trying,
to impress everyone else.
You'd actually get somewhere,
by not lying to yourself...
