Lost in Light (which ceases to appear).

by Unrequited   Oct 30, 2008

A shattered star is death
Waking night and ice in darkened light dissolving-
Unto a name, so lost
As lone man breaks up, apart, razor taking life.
And so it is, ending cold
A soul is lost into the sky, where no light appears.

Clouds now open, storming screams of angels in their nightmares,
(never-ending breath of ended life)
So lost in light dissolved.

I think the reason people havent commented your poem is because its COMPLEX, theres nothing wrong with it but just remember the entire website isnt filled with hundreds of people that understand every word of a complex poem, If this is how you write all the time just keep doing it if you were trying to speak in Entire metaphors letting us place our own answers then good job to, it was a difficult poem for me to understand i got it secondtime through, thats about the only thing i can address, its a very depressive poem that sounds like song lyrics, A short poem perfected is a hard task to accomplish, and this is to close not to give it a 5

''A soul is lost into the sky, where no light appears.''

''Clouds now open, storming screams of angels in their nightmares,''
    (never-ending breath of ended life)
''So lost in light dissolved. ''
A soul is lost into the sky, where no light appears."

Loved reading this poem, death, the tragedy of it, the pain and the beautiful sadness.
The end is very dark and beautiful imagery very good use of the words. I'm kinda sad it's a short poem but it's a very powerful one. It's on my favourite list!
