Christmas Time

by The Invisible Boy   Oct 30, 2008

Snow is falling on my shoulder
Feeling lonely and colder
But the Christmas spirit is here

The crowds bustling with joy
The children staring in the shop at toys
The Christmas lights dazzling through the town

Walking through the drifting snow flakes
Visible breath floating through the air
Christmas joy for all to share

Carols fill the atmosphere
Voices of Christmas joy and cheer
The stable, Christmas tree and Santa Claus

I wrap up in my hat and scarf walking up to Church
See the parishoners wearing their winter coats
The last Advent candle to be lit

Christmas spirit, Christmas time
Christmas Dinner with room for all to dine
But we must remeber what Christmas is all about
The birth of Jesus with which Christmas would not exist without
