Security

by Viola   Nov 1, 2008

Here is where I am safe
Nailed to the board, stable and sure
Where gushing winds cannot sway me away

Here I am the foundation of an old building
That's still standing strong
Where the unscathed silence holds me captive
Like a child nestled in the womb

Here I stand alone, invulnerable, holding on
Like a soldier to his armor in the battle fields
I find solace inside a memory
