Misinformed lovers

by Milla   Nov 2, 2008

They hear one thing
yet want another.
They never know the truth
of the lies we speak.
Confusing the young ones to
believing love is all but
bliss and no work.

Combining this tale from
another, maybe they will
get the hint that its all
fable and not truth.
But they desire the tall tales,
the desire the secret love that
few get to encounter.

Running through daises,
hand in hand. Kiss upon kiss.
They want that.
Cancel out the truth because
dreams and wishes are more
fulling then the ugly despair of the truth.
But don't grow mad when you
rattle your brains around when you
discover that you're a
Misinformed Lover

**I know this poem looks like I'm slightly saying love isn't a good thing but please don't think that. This poem is stating that sometimes we get the wrong idea of love and we get sad when it ends bad. We feel as if we were lied to. But in all reality it was ourselves who lied to our hearts. Not the people who learned to love the right way. Its not one of my best works i know but thank you for reading and rating(PLEASE RATE) ha ha. Thank you for your time
