Where Did You Go?

by Richard S   Nov 2, 2008

Where did you go?
Your place beside me is still warm.
But there is emptiness there.

I awake abandoned
Where are you?
You're mine after all.

Oh...there you are
Out in the kitchen,
Taking care of life.

Taking care of children.
Children who should be off now.
Children who cling.

Children who can care for themselves.
Children just the same.
You are not only mine, but theirs.

No...I won't be jealous.
No...I won't be them.
No...I'll wait.

I'll wait for MY time.
I'll wait for OUR time.
I'll wait.

I think you're very comprehensive knowing that your woman can't just be here just for you. But women are very organize with their time, so at the end she'll be there for all her family. Well done, kel.
