39. Forgetting The Memories Of You

by Toni Lawrence   Nov 2, 2008

I took all of the pictures that I had with you in it and put them in a box
I took all of your letters that you wrote to me over the years and put them in a box
I took all of the pictures that you have made just for me over the time and put them in a box
I took all of the timeless treasured poems that you wrote about me and I put them in the box as well
I took all of the beautiful hankies that you hand made for me to have and I laid them down in the box too

Then I put the lid on box to seal all of the memories of you in it forever

I have learned to deal with all of the pain that you caused me to have over the years
You don't have my heart any more and you can't make me relive all of the pain or tears
I know now I am strong enough, strong enough to over come all of the painful fears

So now I am left with one little box that hold years of memories we both shared together. . .
