Central Heating

by Dwite Fry   Nov 4, 2008

Outside
The storm sends rain
Down our streets
The water hits our house
Blown in sheets
Inside
The carpet's soft
You're softer still
The central heating's on
The weather's no big deal

It's such a warm feeling
This could last all afternoon
It's such a warm feeling
I'm not going anywhere anytime soon

Outside
Clouds have turned
The light pavement grey
It's black as night
In the middle of the day
But Inside
There's a yellow glow
The stereo's up full
Your weight on me
The weather don't matter at all

It's such a warm feeling
This could last all afternoon
It's such a warm feeling
I'm not going anywhere anytime soon

-----------Appendix-------------

There isn't one! Shock! Horror!
