Run

by grotesquelight   Nov 4, 2008

I run as fast as I can but the tears still keep on falling down my cheeks.

Just when I thought it would stop raining, it would start to rain heavier on me.

I reached the end of the tunnel, only to fall down another endless pit.

Who cares to look but noone around.

How can I drive so many away impossible done successfully.

So heavy this torn up heart, scabs bleeding all over the place and noone around.

Just a tiny little light keeps pushing me on through this prickly forest.

But threats of blowing out this light all too real surrounding me, crouching in darkness.

But halt, that little light still reach for it before it's too late.

Just for me the church bells rang.

Almost drowning in this hurtful greyness lifting up reluctantly reaching out.

No dare to hope for the best, just expect the worst.

I must keep on going out running no stopping.

Don't let go of my hand, not even for a split second.
