The Physics of Smiling

by Vanessa   Nov 5, 2008

When the world turns upside down,
And all smiles turn to frowns,
I'll try and give you something to smile about.
But in return I'll ask you for a favor,
For you to stay with me, and give these dull days some flavor.
I'll ask you to hold my hand.
And help me understand,
The physics of smiling.
And in this upside down world, we'll be its awkward fling.

Wow, sounds like my ex. She always talked of her boring life, and I was the spice. lol. Well, she realized how spicy it would get, when danger from my past caught up. 5/5 for this poem as well.

I think you brought out the physics of smiling in this poem. I especially liked the first two lines.
