Sonnet 10: To Kiss You

by Soulful Ensemble   Nov 7, 2008

I'll walk forever so I may kiss your lips
I'll never turn around to desert the trip
Knowing each mile gained is a step more
To be near you where the rain does pour
And beyond the grassy hills I can see your door.
But I'm not there just yet, mi amor, and now
Theres only a few more yards before I vow
As your presence brings excitement to my brow.
Given that I'd do anything to be with you
And never let time or space defeat what's due
You can say whatever your heart feels and I
Wont be affected by the negative lullibies.
My heart is set on you, to hold that waist
And kiss upon the lips that lay there placed.
