His flame went out for all of us
His life has sealed our fate
But here is where we sit
Hell is where we wait.

How long will we thirst?
That addiction we can't quench
We are thrown knives
How long will we not flinch?

We long to ask him questions
But many do not know
That our Lord, our God
Is waiting here at home

He draws us to his lap
He holds us near and dear
He tells us all the stories
That we need to hear

He loves us unconditionally
Not a single one is spared
He holds the thieves and murderers
And those that show no fear

You can always talk to Him
In a crowd or all alone
Whenever you speak His holy name
You give a call to home

Very enjoyable and no truer words were ever written or spoken. Well written, good job. 5/5 from me.
