Ollie the Pyramid

by Dacey Flame   Nov 9, 2008

The rain begins to land
Like heaven's torture bombs
Smashing our skulls and faces
And the earth crumbles beneath our
Grippy shoes, our boards fall to the ground
As the world tears itself apart
And our clothes rip to shreds as we
Grow fangs and curved backs and muscles
And tempers like you would never believe
Fights in the street as we fumble through
Cracks in the sidewalk to dark nothing
Like an Alice in Wonderland drop
Safety? Security?
Doors locked tight and we're hiding from each other
Is this the world we live in?
Demolishing each others
In turn lacerating our own souls
A power struggle with no sides or teams or boundaries
All is free game
We are but helpless little goat.
