Remorseful Love

by julie   Jun 8, 2004

A velvet blanket, scattered with twinkling gems,
From my obsessive love fear stems.
An amazing world, but the very foundations crumble,
With violence and hate, that makes you humble.
We thrive on the boulevard of broken dreams.

Life they fear, is in their eyes,
Because all they understand is death and lies.
Is no where safe? Is it even safe inside your head?
Would you live in fear? Or rather just be dead?
Sonnets to serenade evil.

Kill each other in order to satisfy your lust.
Is there any war you can call just?
You give remorse with all your "love".
A velvet blanket scattered with twinkling gems.
From your endless violence, their blood stems.
