When love becomes an obsession

by Chloe   Nov 12, 2008

Started out as friends, close as can be
No time I was without you or you without me
Things started out great, excitement and laughter
You were the game in which I would chase after
But something so sweet soon turned to ashes
A look from a guy and I got bruises and bashes
The love that we had turned into an obsession
No matter what you did I couldn't learn my lesson
Like a boomerang I always bounced back
But still I was accused of "laying down the mack"
Finally I have found the strength to be on my own
No hanging out, no texts, and no talking on the phone
No matter how nice, you were or could be
Nothing was worth the pain you bestow upon me
No apologies, or presents could make me forgive you
So here's to an old end, I'm on to something new
