Forevermore!

As darkness falls,
The truth of our lives begins to unfold.
A world consumed by shadows
Overrun with no beats.
A place you've all learned to fear!
A voice you've silenced for years!

Creatures of the night they call us!
Cold ones who never learned how to feel..
Consumed by lust
Drawn by thirst
Longing for blood.
For warmth to caress,
love to possess,
throughout the years!

Solitary is our friend
Strength is for granted
Beauty is our weapon
And Fire is our end.

This is a brief..
A sketch you'll get to see.
Grasp this dear,
Our world is way more complicated than all your dreams!

So wait for me,
Seek my shadow in the night.
Succumb to your despair,
Let your heart give out that rhyme!
Surrender thy soul,
Let me drink forever more!

    Oh that was goood !!
    I love dark poems, they're the only poems that get through me to an extent I cannot comprehend!
    First of all, I love the rhyme scheme..it was kinda random but entertaining =)
    the darkness of the poem is..well-penned.
    I loved the second part most
    very good write indeed..
