Malcontent

by ImperfectBliss   Nov 15, 2008

The eloquence of the wind,

Dancing across the latent sky

The mountain stream flowing,

Giggling with ebullience

Laughter augmenting

The contentedness of the forest

Eminent whispers tiptoeing

Across mossy rocks and trees

Incessant wings flittering

Across the prudent pond

A girl with sunshine hair,

Lying on the field, diffident

To herself

Malcontent, she wishes she could fly

Away from the world

She winces at the sudden hoot

Of an old oul

And lies back,

Falling asleep

Under the wandering moon.
