Not for me

I hate this life
I'm living in
give me a knife
and a bottle of gin

the choice was clear
but however so wrong
i shed a single tear
while i hum a sad song

you meant a lot
perhaps too much
everyday i fought
for your longing touch

never came close
i gave it my all
this really blows
i feel so small

life isn't for me
neither is love
its my time to flee
to the world above

    The rhyming is this poem was perfect which made it a more enjoyable read, the flow was easy to follow and the emotion in the poem was very nicely placed throughout! Great job =]
