You stand out, out of all the pretty colors

by Erin Castillo   Nov 16, 2008

You're like the mysterious 8th color of the rainbow, only seen by those who truly observe.

Your essence is what makes a rainbow a rainbow. You highlight the other seven, thats why you're hardly seen or noticed, but I see you in all your ways. Without you, there would be no reason for having a rainbow at all. It would be as dull as black and white.

You're the sun that makes the rainbow after the rain. The one that gives hope amidst tragedy and sorrow, as well as life for all existence. The heat that shelters me during
the cold.

You're the pot of gold at the very end of its tail. The one only the adventurers find. You glisten and give meaning to the phrase "material-less wealth".

Only God could fashion someone like you. I'm lucky to meet someone beyond my imagination and expectation. You are truly God's gift to a lonely, wandering soul.

I love you so much <3
