Alone but Together

by Pamela   Nov 19, 2008

Skin that's white as snow,
Greasy blond hair covers parts of his face
His eyes look into mine:
Still so young and yet so scared.

While the others play around,
He hides deep in his corner
While the others laugh together,
In his corner he cries alone.

Skin that's white as snow,
Greasy brown hair covers parts of her face
Her eyes look into mine:
Still so young and yet so sad.

While the others gossip around,
She hides deep in her corner
While the others go shopping together,
In her corner she cries alone.

One day when they both try to hide,
It's the same corner they run to
They look each other in the eyes:
Still so young and yet so in love.

While the other laugh at them,
They hide deep in their corner
While the others make fun of them,
In their corner they cry together

They're so happy.
