The boys think she's so tough..

The boys thinks she's so tough,
because she'll play rough.
They've never seen her cry.
But just the other day,
that would've been a lie.
On the cement stairs,
she sat.
Wishing for him to notice her,
feel the same way.

A tear scrolled down her face,
then another at it's own pace.
She keeps her face in her hands,
tears squeezing past her palms.
She's shivering,
maybe she's just cold.

Walking to the bathroom seems to take forever,
she's got a thin bladed knife.
And she's sick of an infection called 'love'.

She slices her neck,
the blood sprawls everywhere,
flooding her dress.
Falling to the ground,
she ends up smacking her head.
Oh but how now,
finally, no long she dreads.
