Rainbows fade
Or is it that I am fading?
No longer stopping to view its majesty
My perception has faded rainbows

Rain drizzles
Though maybe it pours
I just haven't stopped to notice
The house is flooding

Clouds
Seemingly dark and ominous
Me, oblivious
Lights are on and music plays

Drifting through life
Unaware of the shadows
For light has been my focus
And my mind is better for it
