Screams and Memories

Screams of pain
echoed through the air
she was bleeding to death
but there was no one to care

screams of hate
brought the night to life
she stabbed herself
with her favorite knife

screams of terror
woke up the dead
she failed at life
just like they said

Memories of blood
made her want to die
her soul faded
as she said goodbye

memories of you
brings tears to her eyes
with every breath she takes
her heart slowly dies

memories of life
made her think of death
she felt herself grow numb
