Hush

by meganmarie   Nov 25, 2008

Torn apart and bandaged at will
fragile wings, cracked then filled

deceitful words in ruby red
coursing veins, what was said?

plastered shut are tempted eyes
for none shall see their fateful demise

foggy futures, what's to hide?
someone soon will break the stride

contemplating errors, tossed and turned
emergency scene, has nobody learned?

sewn together, two hearts beat as one
the stars swallow skies, devour the sun

twilight has broken, send out the hounds
hush my darling, and don't make a sound...

This, for some reason, reminds me of a romeo and juliet moment
