Details Become Insignifigant

So glad I've finally found a good guy
That won't waver at the larger truths
He knows what I've been put through
Knowledgable about my change in direction
He helped me straighten out, when
You weren't there, he became a best friend
We got close enough that sparks flew
That night, I started smiling openly happy
Till the days when you toss comments out
Frowns and tears, they begin their pour
Drown me in your jealous pities
Go sit with Ryan, stick your head in
His "mature, sweet" little a*s, it's pleasant
You might like the solid color you see
But don't let yourself do this to me
Because, let me tell you a small secret
I found a guy that wants to save me
I also found my best friend on a railroad
Walking in front of an oncoming train
When it's over for you, I'm not helping
You taught me something valuable today
Don't trust anyone, who has a past
Of promises made of flimsy pixie dust
Strike three, you're out of my game
Chris is here, and you can't seem to agree
Go back to your boyfriend and be mean
Because It's MY business dating who I
Want to date, child, get out of this mind
Accept what happened, what is happening
Or walk to the dugout, permanent solution
