Needlepoint Friends

by InvisiblyHeartless   Nov 26, 2008

Used to be our little "us"
Playing our childish games
Tickle fights and Twister
Snack's of the same
Everything big seemed
Super large to us
but
Everything little now seems
Tiny and unimportant
Our 'little' days are over
Our 'big' days didn't come
Over, that's one way
to
Describe our friendship
Boys and big toys
Sports and school
Split us straight away
You have 'big' Ryan
I have 'big' Chris
yet
I still need you
Hugging me, crying
Telling me we'll never
Officially die, at all
It breaks me to say
that
Our needlepoint relationship
Has to break some way
Off the cliff, we fall
It seems to be the only
Way my friendships end
