No

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Nov 28, 2008

You call me weak
Yet I am strong
You think you're right
But you're always wrong

No, I won't end my life
Although that was my wish
But my revenge will be served to you
In a cold, unmerciful dish

Those who hurt me in my life
Have made me internally brave
I thank them from all my heart
And will visit them in their grave

They have made me love myself
But made me hate this life
The one where evil conquered good
And injustice always rife

What was I thinking?
When I wanted to give up?
I've been through worse
And drank from misery's cup

My heart is the kindest
And if you disagree than go away
I will not blame myself for this anymore
I'll be the predator rather than the prey

Yes, my heart is full of anger
But, what else did you expect?
The soft flower turns too dry
When it is cursed by neglect.

Now, God knows I fear too much.
And I shake when I hear you scream.
But, this won't be the case forever
My wishes won't always remain a dream.

Beware of those who don't sleep.
They are the victims of the unjust.
They will be driven by avenge.
And anger feeds their lust.

No, I won't end my life
Although that was my wish
But my revenge will be served to you
In a cold, unmerciful dish

Very, very powerful. we all have hurt in our life but the brave ones are the ones that get on with it like me and you. I admire you, 5/5. Em
