This poem sucks

I told him not to promise me forever
because forever never lasts
i've seen forever's end
over and over and over

i told him i'd catch him, if he were ever to fall
but he refused to take my hand
i've seen him fall again
again and again and again

i told him i loved him and he told me too
because we meant it
i've seen his love die and regrow
over and over and over

i told him i didnt believe him anymore
but he convinced it was true
i've lost faith in his truth so many times since
again and again and again
